db09 offered up a preview review after being with vt6’s shoutcast hosting for a little over a month. db09 is starting an internet radio shoutcast server for 10 users and so far so good.
just wanted to give a quick thumbs up to VT6’s shoutcast services!
james has been very helpful in getting everything setup and running, i’ve noticed no downtime at all and best of all and the pricing is fantastic.

Nitratec02 said that he experienced a couple of outages form his web host Levi1 in one week’s time. He then tried to cancel his account, but couldn’t get his money back.
I came across Levi1 thinking they wouldn’t oversell and the uptime and reliability looked good to.
Until the server went down twice in one week!
Personally I think they oversell - even though they dont sell unlimited packages.
Another thing their support isn’t very good. It says 24/7 support even though there is only 1 guy running it and he never answers (well he does probably once in a blue moon).

40sixty has been pushing the limits of his web host, Host Rocket, by serving over 1,000,000 page views a month and using more than 150 GB of bandwidth. A lot of people sign up for these huge hosting accounts, but few actually use up all those resources.
40sixty is a prime example of why you want to have properly coded web pages on your server that use minimal resources. If he had a more complex site that had a lot of MySQL queries or took up a fair chunk of processing power then he would have been suspended a long time ago for using up too many resources on a shared environment.
So, I been using host rocket for about 1 1/2 years (my partner setup the account like 5 years ago lol).
Anyways, back to review.
Uptime? Solid 99.8% according to host tracker (couldn’t check this month as I moved one of my main domains from them)
Bandwidth/Space? I use about 4 gigs and 200 gigabytes of bandwidth a month.
They offer 25 gigs and unmetered bandwidth.

The Village Idiot was shouting at the top of his lungs, praise for Liquid Web’s shared hosting service. Mr. Idiot was coming from a “bargain” host and definitely believes he has upgraded to a premium provider with Liquid Web. He especially enjoyed how the tech support were knowledgeable Americans that could answer he questions quickly and clearly.

speed: 5/5 (I have a low-bandwidth site)
